Have signed up for audioblog. Will be putting up my first audio post. A song which I sang for this hugely popular duo called Bathiya and Santhush. I can say that this is my first 'international' venture. They came down and recorded and I happened to sing for them in their album. This song, 'Re Pura' has both Sinhalese and Hindi lyrics.. So listen up and lemme know.. I will put it up in a few hours.. :)
And also my mom shall support her writings with some audio feeds too!

P.S.: If you check out their site, the picture on Production Days 3, on the home page, has my picture with them. No one though, can recognise anyone in that picture :D

I have known Bathiya and Santhoos and heard them when I was in Colombo..Nice young singers...infact one of their music vedio was primarily aired in local TVs there had some captivating modern music..I am a ARR guy and seldom listen to others unless its IR in some cases...Their music really impressed me...Good to know that you do a cross country album now...Its not international in the real sense...but still its a good start...Sinhalese (English mixed too) pop music (popisai as they call in tamil there ) is very popular and Chimayi..I wish you all the best to glow in that area also..

Hey don't i get royalty, for all the suggestions you've implemented ? :P

But i guess, right now, karumbu thinna kooli vendam ;)

Arvind said...

Talking of suggestions, you should consider, delinking 'title' of your post with 'first line' of your post ?

It helps in searching and archiving :-)

That's an interesting foray. It is not a bad idea to go for a video log (vlog) too.

Thanks rama!

no royalty and you still want an explanation...bad ;)

yeah...you can have a separate 'title' for your post. Currently, the first line of your post becomes your title.

There is this option to set the 'title' separately :-)

I have a title block.. :))
I start out with something and end with something else.... is there also a way I can condense it.. as in people can read ahead if they want to, by clicking on a link or they can go to the next post.. that way a lot more can be accommodated on the page?

To your question about headline-brief vs details - there are some people who have implemented that - but it is more of a painful route...

But some bloggers like Praveen had cracked it and explained the same....can't seem to find it now :-)
