Hey Chinmayi,
Gadgets can be addictive. It is very hard to keep up with the market. I have read some neat things about Xda Exec..and they are not that expensive either. But you may want to wait for a while!

Chinmayi,
Happened to catch "aasai mugam marandhu poche" in Vijay TV today morning. Well rendered , loved every bit of it. Couldnt catch the rest as had to rush to office. Any idea if it will be re-telecast?

HI Raj

This itself is a re-telecast from a pogram almost around 1 1/2 years back.. Did not know it was gonna come today.. The song was composed by Rameh Vinayagam. :)

I read a nice review on O2 XDA here.

http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/handhelds/0,39023875,10001359,00.htm

but i came to know that..Orange SPV M500 is equally good.

Now Pocket PC's are evolving..Its
hard to decide which one to go for..

So which one you are going for??!!!

Ramesh Vinayagam is a talented composer. All of his 3 movies(University, Azhagiya Theeye and Nala Damayanthi) were ve4ry good Unfortunately, he is not getting too many chances in a kuthu-oriented TFM scene.
BTW, have you ever rendered a so-called Kuthu pattu?

Raj: I have ..I am assuming you mean a fast paced song.. one of which is Kirukka Kirukka, and other is New.. a few haven't released.. and dont know whether they will...

Rajesh: Orange?? Havent heard of that one..:)

Gr8 phone choice! Go get it soon...(:P I am a bad influence)

chinmayi - didnt like NEW much - cant remember much from the NEW soundtrack. Which movie is the other one from?

Hey! Do you know anything much about Ramesh Vinayagam's current project - it is sad to see a talented composer like him in the sidelines while the likes of Dhina, Srikanth Deva etc find backers.(no offence meant, I guess as a playback singer you cant afford to diss anyone so do remove this comment if you wish to)

Also, reminder for posting your recording experiences with ARRehman as requested by someone long back. Have you sung for Ilaiyaraja?(apart from Italy tour)

Chinmayi said...

Raj: yes I have sung for Raja sir,. for a telugu movie. I am not sure of the name though. And then in the BG score for Viswa Tulasi.

Surya said...

The Viswa thulasi one...it came out in the cassette as a song bit...engae pirandhadhu. May be it was used as BG in the movie.

It was a great small bit in the album...full of IR stamp..while other songs had both MSV/IR stamp. I really liked the way the bit ends with the veena playing(?).

Chinmayi,

02 and Orange are premium mobile service providers in UK.

A pocket phone bought in the UK
can be unlocked and used in india as well. In India a nominal fee
is charged to unlock the phone.

Thanks for the information, Chinmayi. Will check out Viswa Thulasi. Was the telugu movie you are talking about "Ninu choodaka nenundalenu"? Or may be ShivaShankar?
