Quite something

Have been going through the exercise of hiring full time interpreters for Blue Elephant the past few weeks and its quite a task. I wonder how all these major conglomerates manage hiring so many thousands of people.
I did not realize that so many people were into languages and seriously as well.
And it definitely makes a lot of difference if you know a foreign language along with a professional degree.
And if the language has a script of its own, better still.

Ya you are rite Chinmayi knowing a foreign language is very useful...I too learnt french during my 11th and 12th standards..It was really fun learning french...In french a word may have different meanings...In french even if a punctuation goes wrong that word goes wrong....In Sweden education is free of cost if u have a good Ielts score and one thing is a must there,u should know swedish for that...I think u know more than 6 languages...All the best for ur hiring process Chinmayi...

Yes Chinmayi. Quite right! Learning a foreign language has been so much fun. You turn into a kid again, trying to learn the nuances of the language and trying to form sentencs, feel great when you are fluent enough to speak! It also looks great on your CV!!

Off late I've been hearing this from many people. Someone was guiding my son to pursue a language seriously. Now its on your blog. Very true.
